Trust in the Lord

with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding
in all your ways acknowledge Him
and He will direct your paths.

Proverbs Chapter 3 verse 6

Seek first
the kingdom of God
and His righteousness
and all these things will be added unto you.

Matthew Chapter 6 verse 33

I have a story to tell of how,    during the age of science,
materialism and modernity, and liberalism in many parts of the western church, God showed me that I can trust Him.

During the Jesus Revolution during the later sixties,
there was a catch phrase:
Jesus is the answer.

Indeed I found this to be the case and explored how Jesus is the answer as I prayed that He would show me the answers to questions being studies in the social sciences.

As I write these pages on keys to recovery from csa
I want to affirm that Jesus Christ is the answer
that Jesus Christ reveals the answers
to men (and women)  recovering from being sexually abused during our childhood. and other readers here to ask God for help to recover from other abuse or neglect or grief or trauma
during our lives.

I would encourage readers to read the Psalms and Proverbs each day. I was helped by the suggestion to read the Proverb Chapter corresponding to the day of the month.

The Psalms  are excellent reading for anyone going through depression. Many times the Lord has lifted me out of depression as I read the Psalms

Experiencially God can be trusted because He is all knowing - His observations are encompass every piece of information, every event in the universe. He knows and reveals truth. He gives insight.

hence prayer is helpful - asking God for answers.

I might add - asking questions is helpful.

Identify the problem before looking for the solution.

accepting things as they are is only useful in terms of moving onto to asking God to take me where I should be.
